Facebook World: Canpages API Contest

Facebook World is a fun iPhone application that provides you and your friends new ways of exploring your city and the people that live there. It's a fun social community that takes your online Facebook profile and merges it with the real world where you can message, meet and discover new place and people within your area.

The Facebook World iPhone App features:
* Ability to search, shout out and check-in to business locations in Canada (thanks to the Canpages API)
* The ability to view Tweets, check-ins, and shout-outs near you (based on your GPS location)
* Send direct messages to people around you who are using the app (custom chat inbox for all users). For example, if someone checked-in to a lounge or a bar, I can send them a message to their inbox asking them how it was and if it's worth going. The ability to message people within the app allows for not only discovering new and fun places and businesses within your city, but also allows you to meet new people
* Ability to Add users as friends (or block them)
* View check-in & shout out history
* Easily follow new Twitter friends in your area (using Twitter geolocation API)
* For any business location powered by Canpages, you can: call, email, Tweet and share on Facebook
* Add locations as part of your favourites
* Shout out or check-in to ANY location and upload a pic
* All actions within the app (ie. shout-out, check-in, Twitter posts nearby) are posted in a LIVE STREAM where you can view what's going on around you in real time.
