This video demonstrates removal of a fibroid growing in the lower uterine segment. The fibroid is the elongated bulge to the left of the uterus and is accessed via cutting the layer over the fibroid with a laser beam. The fibroid is then held with a grasper and is removed from the abdominal cavity by a power tool (Morcellator) through a small 1/2 inch incision in the abdomen.
