Hi FourForty, im the same way as you,

I wish the hydros would go back to piston engone's and leave it there,

why couldnt they come out with modern version's of allison, and Roll's V-12's?

I don't think it'd be that hard to do considering that offshore powerboats spend more on thier stuff than the unlimited's,

Although I grew up in the early unlimited hydroplane era, I guess I never imagined what it would be like to ride in or drive one. This video shows just how torquey the V-12's are. As a old piston aircraft engine mechanic, nothing compares to the sound of a V-12! Great video, thanks for posting..
