Watch as the window I drag from space to space has to catchup with the cursor. Also note that pressing the spaces key (F8) when hovering over the space you want no longer works; you have to click.
System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Exposé & Spaces. Double-click next to "Activate Spaces" and hit control+space. Personally, I use KeyRemap4Macbook to turn my right option key into a control, also. That way, I can change Spaces in four directions with one hand.
I did this my self and it does happen but only happens when you go in a circle motion. I usually go left to right or up to down when moving app and not in a circle motion. I also had to move my mouse really quickly as to force it to lag, but if i moved my mouse like i normally do it dose not happen.
This bug really makes me angry. Several things have been broken about Spaces since 10.5. Personally, I've had my Spaces shortcut as control-space bar since the beginning, because using Function keys on a Mac hasn't made sense for years, considering the OS steals them. When you say "F8", that functionality was something I used the space bar for. But now I have to hit control-space again. If there's nothing under the cursor to Quick Look at, then the space bar should select the Space as in 10.5
@mate2000 Option + arrows is for moving the cursor between words (L/R) and paragraphs (U/D). That's too handy to lose, so it's not an "option". ;-)

@JessyUV or you could just simply set it to "Option + Arrow Keys" which does exactly what you described without installing additional software.

Hey, I had exactly the same problem before: really laggy when using expose, space, or even max/minimizing applications.
I fixed the problem by deleting the color profiles of display that have the same names.
If you don't know what I mean, you can try to delete the other profiles except the default one.
Good luck.
