Istill have the 45 of this song that I bought back then and it still is one of my most favorite records ever! Why can't anybody make beautiful songs like this anymore? What a treasure!

So ethereal, magical and a damn pretty song I can listen to ad nauseum. I forgot about this song and heard it on the radio the day after my son got married(9/2/2011) and I have been obsessed with it since. Sounds like Johnny Mathis. Love it.

@johnsocha123 you sir are incorrect, the Critters best song was "Don't let the rain fall down on me"!but i do admit to having a special place in my heart for every tune they did.too have Jackie DeShannon writing for you was a hugh deal then.

Love it.

one of the most beautiful, brilliant pop songs of all time...I wish all of you young people could have experience the magical summer of 1966..a much simpler time..what a great time to be a young person...the mucic of that summer was incredible...a time of simple pleasures when you didn't need to have drudgs or alcohol to be happy
Also watch for appearances by The Hitmen, a band featuring Don Ciccone and Jim Ryan, both original members of The Critters. You're much more likely to see The Hitmen in the NY area. See thehitmensite d o t c o m.
