CLASSIC GAMES REVISITED - PSP Slim Mod (CFW) overview/how-to

Well, I hacked my PSP Slim and installed Custom FirmWare 5.00 M33-4. It really wasn't hard at all and just about anybody should be able to do it. Here's what you need to do after you acquire all the needed items:

Step 1: download this: http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-grader-v008/

Step 2: run PSP Grader with your memory stick in your PSP and the PSP hooked up to your computer (BACK UP ANY FILES FIRST IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THEM). Select create Magic Memory Stick (duh!).

Step 3: fully turn off your PSP, unplug your charger if you have one hooked up, and take out your regular battery and install your TOOL battery.

Step 4: hold the Left Bumper Button down and turn on the PSP.

Step 5: select the first option (5.00 M33-4).

Step 6: let the PSP do it's thing. When it's finished, shutdown as per the instructions on the PSP, switch batteries back to your normal battery.

Step 7: rock out with your c@#% out! You now have CFW!

but tool batery can although use as normal batery right ?? some one told me i cant see its charging but it works as normal batery

@R3n3s0nyk1ll No, the tool battery will not work as a normal battery. It will only allow you to go into admin mode.

hi, i have the psp slim 2001, i'm having troubles with the psp grader whenever i click create pandora stick it says EBOOT can not be found please reload and try again. i've tried downloading it from a few websites and it always tells me that. other sites also said to download another .rar file with it and run it through to "load 5.00 official eboot" button but that isn't working either. thank you for any help or advice you can give

Yeah, you need to dl the file. It's been a long time since I hacked one of these, and I don't remember where I got the file from. Try posting in the pspslimhacks forum, they should be able to help you out if the links to the file are broken.  Good luck.

hi, I have a psp slim 2000, silver also, I have tried and Tried to put N64 Emulator on the psp but have failed, Is there a certain website to get the emulator and the Roms? Also where did you get the Atari Emulator at? Does the Firmware make a difference? Thank You

The N64 emulators aren't that functional - the N64 specs more or less max out what the PSP is capable of.

the psp slim is the easiest to make a Pandora you just open it up i just ran my finger nail back and forth down the sides find the trace on the circuit board cut it with a razor blade and put the battery back together done ..then to turn it back to a normal battery just fill in the trace you cut with pencil lead no solder need it

hey do you know how to change your save data on a psp i have the red god of war one from chains of olympus & my friend put custom firmeware on mine cause it broke & wouldnt load disks anymore but i have soul calibur on it & i want to unlock everything so i can make a character with everything

$24 thats a lot for a pandora at dealextreme they are like $6 and $7 for a hybrid battery

Im mad because i had my pandora battery and now its missing.. The package is there with no battery and it was in my closet.. It's hacked but now i can't do themes.. My psp is on 5.00 m33-4 tho =[
