Creo que no se necesita hablar y ser nacida en latinoamerica para poder ser un latin idol... la verdad es que J_lo entre otros aunque no sean 100% Latinos, son de padres latinos y se sientes orgullosos de representarnos... por que vamos a desacreditarlos? lo que se necesita es ser orgulloso de ser latinos y ya eso es lo importante...

@kusu hello , haha . im a latina and i am from puerto rico. and I dont want to bring any trouble but jennifer is a puerto rican and a new yorrican. and jennifer i think she speaks spanish very well, because as you can see in her newest interviews in english she has sort of a spanish accent and 3rd that why are you ashemed of her ? has she done something wrong for us latinos to be ashamed of her? in fact, that should be the opposite. We should be proud as a SUCCESFULL latina as her and sweet. (:

i'm a Latino too, and i'm prud of her, even more than Shakira, 'cos as you said she's from NY and in spite of that, she shows her latin side, Shakira on the other side, once she became famous in the US, she forgot about us..all her albums mostly in enlgish, her songs have changed, etc...

I think is a real WRONG MISTAKE to put Jennifer Lopez to represent Latinos, first cuz She born in NY 2nd JLo Doesn't Speak SPANISH WELL ENOUGH to represent us, and the 3 and the worst. she is a Hot PR(Puersto Rican Mama) But she does not know her Puerto Rican heritage.... I love her but, as A Latino, I am ashamed of her... get Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Thalia, Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin or Enrique Iglesias at least... JLo I love you but not a 100% Latina... sorry...
