Time freeze effect with adobe premiere elements 8

Here is a quick rough test of a time freeze effect. i got the idea of video copilot.net but it was done in after effects so i thought i would try it on elements. it could be a little better but overlaying of videos was screwing up and being gay so i thought i would just be done. tell me what you think.

hi. Ive got a question.. Im new with premiere and I dont know how to extend the video footage..

Ive got video 5s duration. When I apply time warp (to slow it), lenght of video stays unchanged -> I see only small part of the video slowed down, than it dissapears.

I guess if I slow the video to 50% I should double the lengh of the clip.. but I dont know how..
