Your comments only show that you have no knowledge/experience with a race car. The wheelie bars keep the car straight at launch. Driving through the pits and the burnout will change the orientation of the diff (very slightly) which is where the wheelie bars are attached. Adjusting them prior to launch is essential. Misadjusted bars could put the car into the wall or the other lane. Next time the NHRA is on watch the pro stocks. They all adjust at the line

Was a great run except for Fat boy and his two left hands playing with the bars ...maybe he should just stick to washing the tow truck , but let him keep the earphones ....
