Last summer, a friend of mine and I were in a car and the "doctor tells you you have two weeks to live" scenario comes up. The first thought that popped into my head when confronted with hypothetical-death-in-two-weeks was "Damn... I wonder what I would've looked like with a mustache..."
I announced this of course, and my friend's response was "Dude, if you grow a handlebar mustache, I'll grow an afro."
And so the legend of the handlebar mustache began. This is a time-lapse of the 4-ish months I grew it for. It's more or less a picture every day, up until the very day I shaved it off after taking the last picture in the video.
