Fish walking on water

Can anyone tell me what kind of fish this is? This is below the dam at Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma. It came out of the water a good 6 inches or so and slowly swam around like that for about 20 - 30 seconds. It did this 3 times while we were there. This is the only video I could get before it went under again. It looked like it had it's mouth under it's head instead of on the front like those fish you see stuck to the glass of an aquarium and it had large scales. I'm guessing it was 12 - 18 inches long. Any ideas?

I couldn't see the fish very well but it sounds like either a drum or a carp.
