I dont understant why the narrator names xbalamque and hunahpu, jaguar and hunter

XBALANQUE - The younger brother of Hunahpu (Blowgunner or Hunter, if you like) and the son of One Hunahpu and Blood Woman. X- in Quiche means "she of" or "small" in Cholan; balan is from balam, "jaguar"; que could be from queh, "deer," so the name Jaguar-Deer is a translation into English. This seems proper since these names are taken from literal objects.

This part is really showing the importance of using your SMARTS to overcome challenges. And can there be a bigger challenge to overcome than DEATH? Life is not fair. But you can change things if you use your brains and forethought. If you understand what makes things work , you can manipulate them to do your bidding.
