A dog that can climb trees? Really?

I know, I know. You're probably wondering why Jeff the Zoo Guy is featuring something as simple as a dog, right? Well, you know Jeff, there must be a reason. How about the fact that this dog is the rarest dog in the world? Join Jeff as he introduces you to the very relaxed and lovable New Guinea Singing Dog. They look cute, but they are actually pretty fierce predators.

  • I got an idea! How about you put him back in the wild instead of keeping the poor thing locked up in captivity'

  • Hey, I'm from Papua New Guinea and I agree with ya I think that their instinct in the wild now. But I had a pet dog that I think was part that cos she could howl like she was singing. None of the other dogs on my street could do that.Hehe

  • dog's thoughts:

"Wheeeen will this damn talk be stopped??"

"Am i lookn' great.. in this stupid pose? -__o"

  • this guy doesnt know shit about it...its a normal dog like any other if u raise it in a house...my dog doesnt eat kibbles, it eats chunks of chicken and meat with bones..that doesnt make my dog wild its just their natural food and it doesnt attack any small animals because it is raised with cats..slapp in the head 4 dis guy and all the other "expertes"

  • I want them bred. They are so cute and if they were domesticated I would definetly adopt one.

  • i disagree.. stop breeding them... they went extinct in the wild not because of human interaction but because they failed to evolve. we have enough domesticated dogs that are homeless

  • cool

  • Hey Jeff the zoo guy, I heard that most of the Singing dogs in the United States are descended from pair brought from Papa New Guinea. Is this true? Are we taking the last truly wild dog and inbreeding the vitality out of it, like we did with every other breed?

  • i live in florida and i hope to see one but what a cool looking breed of dogs i hope they can start to breed more of them cause i really love there dogs there cool hopfully in a few years they wont be as rare and more demestic to humans cause i would really love to get one as a pet if i have enuf room

  • What a laid back looking dog!
