helpful. good video

The video is good. one thing that the video didn't show is the insulation blanket. Put it over the dishwasher before pushing dishwasher in the slot.

thanks a lot, just installed my new dishwasher using your video. Actually watched the video first, and then went out and bought the washers, thinking "I can do that!". Thanks again, great video.

thanks a lot for this detailed video, I installed my dishwasher and I wouldn't have even attempted it without you. It went just as your video shows, minus a few scraped up hands and a bloody finger LOL, thanks again

Thanks, very helpful.
Great video.
With the wireing, I would call the ground the "bare" wire rather that the "copper" wire.
Thanks again!

@Studley1Doright Good point, It can even be the color green but yes connect the green or bare aluminum or copper wire to the chassis ground.

We currently don't have a dishwasher, I assume I need to install a garbage disposal first?
I don't know where the wiring comes from. Is it up through the floor or do I run a wire from the back of the wall?
I did like this video.

@rancherhicks
If your kitchen doesn't have a garbage disposal you can purchase a pipe fitting (piece of pipe with a 3/4" barb on the side)to hook up the waste water return from the dishwasher. This new pipe fitting shoild be mounted below the sink drain opening and above the"P"trap. Most sink plumbing is 1 1/2" diameter.
As far as the electrical hookup it depends, Most dishwashers are hard wired to a wire from the floor or wall. Rarely do you see an outlet that has an ext. cord plugged into.

@rob29956 Also If you don't have any home electrical experience please go to your local library and read up on home electrical systems and proper wiring techniques. If you are still unsure call your town code inspection office and ask them any questions you might have, and finally have someone that knows how to do home wiring take a look at your work and make sure it is up to snuff.
