This is Not safe! If you hit a bump the baby will choke, then you would have to pick up the baby to get the baby to stop choking. You should should pull off the road, and nurse and burp the baby like normal.

I have done this. You can do it without pulling the child forward if you yourself lean in more instead. If you are doing a quick trip you can time feedings and in many cases you can pull over but I found myself doing this with my very young baby while on a highway and unable to easily pull over. No reason to introduce a bottle if you don't have to!

No she's not driving but in order to get the baby close enough to the breast the buckles have to be to loose for it to be safe. You shouldn't be able to pull it's head forward that much. And by the way...who in hell invented these frikkin breastfeeding discretion rules???? It's something natural and basic! If you don't want to see me feed my baby look the other way. I don't understand how people can make something sexual out of this. It's your own flesh and blood eating!

You should NEVER take your child out of the car seat while the car is in motion, EVER! Pull over, yes, every single fucking time, inconvenient? Too bad.
