Wow... Haven't heard this song in ages and I own the album on record and CD!!! This album really should be recognized as the masterpiece it truly is. It's on a par with, say, Ultravox's Systems of Romance, Japan's Gentlemen Take Polaroids, Gary Numan's The Pleasure Principle, Simple Minds' Sons and Fascination, and OMD's Organisation. It's that good. If anything, you could say that those albums were actually influenced by Bill Nelson's vision and not the other way around.

That e-bow is incredible. I have never heard it used for such effective solo-ing like this, and yet it isn't superfluous but simply adds more and more to the song. solo out coda. great.
