I spoke to the owner again this week. He wanted to reiterate that the bike was "customized" in the 60's and he rescued it from languishing any further in this present state and the barn it was found in. He has the vast majority of parts to restore the bike to as close to its original 1947 glory as he can get. It is 1of the only 13 known 1947 Sunbeam S7's to exist and hence his interest in restoring it.

@mcrider1946. Wow, congratulations, 10 out of 10 for stating the obvious! The fellow that owns this is well aware of these facts, is putting a great deal of effort into obtaining or making the parts to get it back to original. It was bought in this state. I spoke with him today and he is enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and quite pleasant...
