Actually, the big kid shows today like iCarly, Suite Life on Deck, etc., are really good shows. I grew up in the 90s watching all of the TGIF stuff (which I miss by the way), but I can honestly say that kids still have some awesome quality entertainment. Though there was something about the writing of Boy Meets World that made it a show with real substance - almost philosophical. It made you think, and it was quirky. It had a unique brand of humor that I haven't seen since.

There were plenty of shows in the 90s and before where children didn't respect adults. Rugrats had Angelica, Saved By the Bell had kids who didn't respect Mr. Belding, Boy Meets World even had some (Mr. Feeny). Why do people always screw up the facts when they compare old shows with the new?
