Yes, he wrote it about 1889. and he met Douglas in 1891.

If it wasn't for Bosie's selfishness and immature behaviour Wilde wouldn't have lived in obscurity like he did the last days of his life.

I do no not see Bosie as a poet or a gentleman. He was an opportunist.

Wilde probably would not have been sent to jail had he not sued Bosie's dad for calling him a "sodomite". Everyone knew that he was anyway...I guess that you can say that Wilde rose to his own leve of incompetence.

Very beautifull and usefull, love this video! :) Bosie was not bad poet, but his scandalous life was more popular, that his poems...
