what carb , intake , heads , cam and exhaust are you running? sounds like a holley 750 w an edelbrock performer , a ra4 cam and 3 inch pipes with 1 chamber flowmasters, am i right?

@deannaber Sounds better when he revs it, might be just too much fuel (choke/cold start), or perhaps a bad spark plug or a slightly bent valve or something...
