  • is the whole movie on here

  • No mate, it's about 2 hours long or so. I have it on my PC, go buy it - it's cheap :)

  • Yeah the film is absolutely un-realistic but was fun.

  • The helicopters were British Army Scout AH.1s; the army does get an acknowledgement for its assistance in making the film. Apparently 22 SAS did offer 'technical assistance'.

The raid is probably as about as realistic as one will ever see in a film.

  • yeah, they're definitely Hueys.

  • Its ok ;)

  • @MontytheHorse Most of the guys that dont show there faces that was on the raid were from 22 and 23 SAS

  • You obviously haven't seen this film, because it's not about the Iranian Embassy situation.

  • The British SAS are the best Special Forces Couter Terrorist team in the world bar none!

  • 2.52 - 'You chaps come with me; you might learn something"

We always show the Yanks what to do!! But they go and mess it up in their own particular way....

  • American Terrorists??

    What??

  • The Wasp and Scout are essentially sister aircraft. Both were designed and built by Westlands.

The easiest way to tell them apart is that the Scout has skids and the Wasp has wheels.

  • I always thought they where wasps but looking on the web they seem to have very similiar shilouettes

  • This is a film and the story is not related to the iranian embassy siege. It did however follow on from the embassy siege when there was great interest in the work of the SAS which until then had never been in the public realm. It did also feature some little details from the siege the curtains/building setting a light from the flashbangs and the trooper on fire
