How under-rated and under- valued is Julian Cope ?The man is a genius and a truly brilliant songwriter. He should be made a national treasure. Keep cutting through the crap mate. Some people do get it. Right ?

I remember the Teardrop explodes at Erics in 78, on the same bill as OMD,got my ticket the night I saw Xray Spex...happier and simpler days.

Nice vid. He looked a bit rattled by a screaming midget at one point. Later the old biddie walking past balances out the over emphasis of the old leather-boy sun glasses in the rain. The green spotlight enhances dim lit shopping mall brings out the shiniest foreheads who settle into the groove
