this was made the year i was born.

all the buildings look so... nice.

maybe its the black and white.

and i think the secret exit and the senior study are both gone. was it the top of K block? all i can think of is that the teachers made it their commonroom.

ps its weird to see that principle in action as ive only ever seen him in a pic in the front office.

pps is that ms mcnoughtan?

The secret exit is behind the multipurpose building.

ps Mr Davies was the deputy principle. A very likable man who had the burden of being in charge of discipline.

pps Who do you think looks like Mrs McNaughton? What part of the video? Just curious, because her name doesn't ring a bell.

ppps Really? What could they sell now that tastes better than Doritos? What can you buy from there these days when you miss classes to film stupid videos?

omg!!! hey! i am in year 9 at MHS at the moment. how old is this?? we no longer have a dark room i don't think and where is that senior study area??? i have no idea!!! PLEASE TELL!!!

It was made in 1993.

I used to love the chemical process of photography, and spent considerable time in the darkroom. We could only develop negatives and make enlargements for black and white images. I discarded my own darkroom equipment last year, a sad recognition of the awesomeness of the digital processes.

The senior study has always been a place of mystery and intrigue. In two years time, you may discover its magic. However, since you are in year 9, it is with regret that I cannot reveal its secrets.

The sad thing is nothing much has changed. Except for the darkroom. and the library now has a lounge

Lexi798 - The senior study was next to the hall on the side near the basketball court. You could walk around there and have a cigarette before school, someone could watch for any approaching teachers and the cigarette was extinguished before anyone could catch you. Perfect! Basically any activity could take place there without fear of reprisal. And it did!

Well put together. Was it edited as well in '93? Good job, I was graduating class of 98. I feel sorry for the kids who go there now, especially because the senior study was a great refuge.

yeah, i went there the other day. its blocked by two big ass fences with padlocks. :(

ps, yeah, mr muddle (current deputy) gets the same thing these days..

pps the bit on the catwalk.. she's an english teacher.

pps they went healthy!! WTF??!?!? we now have red rock deli actually, and a totally new canteen which you walk into.. its pretty epic.
