@SkyWestCRJPilot sorry, what I meant was that spoilers (which are armed on approach) are activated after the throttles are set to idle (after the retard aural callout at 20 ft.) and the wheels touch the ground. I was trying to answer Postertoasters question. In the 737, for example, the spoilers are automatically stowed when thrust is increased above idle after the landing roll is completed. I presume it would be the same on the 320.
@Postertoaster spoilers are automatically controlled, they are activated when the throttles are set to idle when the aircraft is 20 ft. above ground on landing and they don't shut immediately after landing. as you can see, the aircraft hadn't completed it's landing roll yet. spoilers shut automatically when engine thrust is increased beyond idle after landing. that's exactly what happened. the pilot increased thrust to turn and begin taxiing and the spoilers stowed.
I don't think so. Druk Air flies to Dheli, Kathmandu,Calcuta, and Bangkok, and also Dacca. Druk Air have a website, check it out there! just google it!
They didn't really taxi with the spoilers on...First priority was to safely control the plane back to a normal taxi speed and backtrack the runway to the terminal as you saw. There are some other stuff to be completed...so closing the spoilers is not that important at that stage.
Smooth landing!
