Tmot, you have some of the best advice I've heard. A lot of women need to watch this. It seems it's all about money, but if you love eachother and do the best you can then there shouldn't be a big problem. It is a blessing as you said.

I think she knew how he was before she married him. It sounds like she wants him to be someone he is not cuz now she's in love with him. It also sounds like he is a player who hit the jackpot with her who was established and all he has to do is babysit and screw her. She is not lucky that he married her he is lucky she gave him the time of day.If her Dad told her to stay away from guys like this then that will always be in hr head.n she will never respect a man who makes less than her.

People need to stop putting money over everything. The same way she looks down on her husband someone would look down on her as well. She might not think she is getting help but she is. She could wind up paying an arm and leg for daycare, ect. She should not disrespect her husband because he make less money. Get off that independent high horse cause everybody need help at times. SMH.

Amen (again), TMOT! As a Black woman, I catch a lot of flack for preaching this very thing among my sisters @ 11:15 -"Independent of WHAT?! (as a married woman?) I don't do the strong black woman nonsense". I do not advocate that either as a Christian, woman. Race is a weak second. We need to re-prioritize, folks. Great words!
