@lcr1234 This is true; most stutterers are very intelligent people.
Stutterers are thinkers; we stutter because we over-think and/or think too quickly and we want to express ourselves but "trip" on our words.
It's like knowing the technique and timing of how to be the best sprinter in the world, but tripping over your legs because you try to run faster than your body can. When we finally learn how to run without tripping, we're the fastest people on the planet!
