San Antonio, Texas -- Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. (TMMTX) is partnering with the San Antonio chapter of the American Red Cross to host a 5k Run/Walk to benefit Disaster Relief efforts in Japan and the Pacific.
This non-timed event will be held on March 26th, 2011 from 9am with registration beginning at 7:30 am. The event will take place at the TMMTX plant site at 1 Lone Star Pass, San Antonio, Texas.
Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross relief efforts.
"In response to the disastrous earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Toyota has responded in the United States by matching the donations our team members make to the American Red Cross.", said Craig Mullenbach, External Affairs Manager for TMMTX. "This event gives TMMTX locally an opportunity to provide our friends and neighbors in San Antonio a way to be engaged and raise awareness of the needs of those affected."
