@lmafaoyazan Yea, but you could have said all that with just a few words. Also, you can't really subject something FOR something. I mean, you can subject something TO something else. Subjecting something FOR something doesn't the follow the standard usage for the meaning subjective. It's ok though, I know how it goes. You probably understand the meaning of it better than most, so you're trying to reach outside your normal range of articulation to convey a complex and subjective interpretation.

Can I just say I think people are missing the real point of this: the societal female finds its consciously acceptable to subject her amorous dreams for the realities of drudgery to perpetuate her "romantic" narrative.
1: pulled away from innocence.
2: forced to play (love).
3: she is subjected like a statue.
4: She's willing to play along. (Why?!)
Chorus: cliched love...bad boys etc...
5: artificiality
6,7,8 - Her tawdry "fun" is a modern failure to relate.
