Listen guys. Ive been playiong guitars years and I love yamaha as a company. For cheap accoustics and classicals they simply have no equals. The Pacifica on the other hand is desperately bad. The jack socket works loose constantly. The trem is unusable, throw it away..fair enough for the price. But, worst of all is the tuning and intonation. Its too dreadful for words. I wish Yamaha well,99% of the time they impress me. This is the 1 % total shit. I warned you buy this axe at your peril truly.

this is my first electric guitar and i still have it after 7 years! but i already replaced the pickups with seymour duncan blackout for the bridge and a pair of paf joe crunchlabs for the single coils. it sound amazing:)

This is a great guitar. I bought mine for $300 and it came with a decent 15 watt crate amp and a gig bag. It was totally worth it. It has a nice feel. Very easy to play, Great tone . And best of all cheap. The sounds is pretty good and if you hook it up to a digi tech multi effects pedal (rp155)($100) it sounds godly. If you are just starting out this is the right route to go!

I have a ESP M300fm which is £450ish
My school has this guitar and it's 10x better sound, feels better and is just amazing.
