  • Man I must say it was great! but don't you have to play the bridge part of the song and the instrumental? I'm trying to find the bridge part... but hey I loved to hear you play! oh ny the way I'm still 13 years old by now but I can play that song! thank God for all his blessings! I'm going to show you a video of me playing your version of Still Standing! May God shower his blessings to all of us! :)

  • Hey Jared, Thanx man....... I never new there was a bridge part until your comment! lol! I had only heard (& learned) it on the Alive in S. Africa CD. As soon as I read your comment I went on a listened to the Lakeland version and heard the bridge part for the 1st time...... doesn't sound too hard, give it a shot!

Keep it up!!!! and post your video so I can check it out!!

    Peace!!

  • I like the sound of your guitar... what model is it??

    the lesson was great thou!!

  • It's a Yamaha FG450 SE

The "S" means it has a solid spruce top. It is a pretty decent axe!

    Peace,

    Mark

  • Hey Mark! have you watched my video? I played it! and I learned it from you! :)

  • love it sound great must say you got a good musical interpretation if not the exact cords will like to know the name of the cords

  • Hey bro, what an awesome vid. This is really good for musos who cant hear some of those chords changes. I've seen some other 'still standing' vids that don't hit the proper chords.

    Wicked brotha, keep it up.

    God Bless

  • nice vid man!

those chords he uses are mainly shortcuts of minor chords. instead of playing the full sound of a bar chord, he plays the bright and crisp sound of a broken chord.
