  • what's this song about?

  • Its about a woman that gets kidnapped by the mountain king(Bergjekongen, a big troll that lives in the mountains)into the mountains, and how she is sad away from her home etc.

    Its a very good song.

  • @Guinizelli777 -Good bye everyone in my home, i never will return to you once more, proud Margit sat on horse gray, cried more tears than the horse had hair.

This is said when she is at her family's farm, and the mountain king is asking(demanding) her to come home. I take it she is going to the mountain, and not leaving him, because she is taking goodbye with a number of people in a place she calls home, she could have leaved hear troll children, but they are not around when she says it.

  • 3asung: This is another version of the story about Margjit Hjukse. There are different versions of the one legend.

  • @Guinizelli777 I disagree, She gets taken into the mountain, and after 9 years asks the mountain king if she can see her father again. He agrees but only for 1-2 hours, when she have been away longer, he comes and asks quite angrily if she wont come home again, she goes on her horse and cries while she travel back. (She cried more tears than the horse have hairs)

  • Enda bedre enn "Kølla spratt i kjerringa"

  • Nesten litt som Draumkvædet, dette her. Flott sang og flott artist!

  • @Vikingskog

det er lettere å fortsette tekst ;)
