  • @Tangakkai Gladiator I agree. I think it was his masterpiece, his big breakthrough.

I have been a fan ever since. Crimson Tide I didnt like that much.

Inception was PERFECTLY fitting to the movie though.

Chevaliers de Sangreal is a GREAT theme, I love it. But in total, the movie, and the soundtrack wasnt the best by far.

He should stick to EPIC movies like Gladiator, Dark Knight etc...

  • to be honest, I'm a huge fan of Hans Zimmer's Work... I think his crimson tide theme, gladiator & Inception Soundtrack are immortal and probably the best OSTs out there... but this score is utterly boring and totally generic... nothing special... a bit of last samurai queues mixed with gladiator and crimson tide theme but in a totally uninspired way... chevaliers de sangreal proves my point... sorry hans, this time i don't feel the magic...

  • @antba2011 This was released like 3 years before Avatar! Horner didnt do it because he had'nt done a major score for a few years.

  • I like Hans Zimmer! He is german(like me ;)) and he brought the typical Filmmusic-sound to Hollywood, but this score was so annoying...it becomes better to the end, but the beginning scenes, are very annoying...
