@smizzman Interesting. His role was greatly enhanced form the book where Rufo was not much more than an example of "the noble savage". Curry was South African having been forced to leave home after some failed uprising. The story is loosely based on some real events that took place over the two major uprisings in The Belgian Congo in the early 1960's. Trivia, the film was shot in Jamaica and on sound tstages in London.
Yes it is from the film but a re-arranged and re-recorded version of the end tittles for the soundtrack album. It's slower and a bit longer than the film version.
This is the End Credits album version, a rearrangement of the end title sequence blending a few cues together. It was regular practice back then to re-record score music for the soundtrack to make them flow better and cut the time down by combining pieces of music together. The music of them returning to the hotel is called "infiltration" and is also a variation of this theme.
