Circus Animal Cruelty: Abused for Entertainment

Animal use in circuses, one of the many forms of entertainment practicing animal abuse.
Many people go to animals based circuses each year, not really understanding much about how the animals are trained, or how circus life is for them. The circus business is a harsh one for animals. Training involves many harsh techniques including, electrical shocks, whipping, beating, slashing with bull hooks and starving animals that do not perform well. The concept behind training is fear so the human will be the "master." Are humans not talented enough to be deemed entertaining?

Circuses are also known for their breeding of hybrid animals and rare coloration animals. These include, ligers, tigons, white tigers, golden tabbies, among others. As many of you know from our other videos, this is also very cruel.

Surveys have shown that 70% of people actually prefer circuses with only human performers. But, human performers are more expensive than animal performers and circuses taking part in this cruelty, really only care about money.

It's barbaric how humans think we are better than other animals. We play God to them. They have no choice in life, zoo's are practically prisons. Its funny how we class rats, possums etc as vermin or pests because they carry diseases or are simply inconvenient to human life, yet we are the ones who not only destroy the land, but the air as well. We cause most of the worlds problems. We act like a virus would, the planet is our host and we are sucking the life from it. Humans aren't nice beings.

Don't smack, torture or yell at an animal to do tricks or when they stuff it up, just buy some really tasty treats and praise them every time they achieve the goal you want them to with a soothing voice :)

Circus' are hell for animals. Very, very different from Zoo's I will say. Circus' use fear and torture to get the animals to "behave". Show's in Zoo's (EG Cetaceans, Sea Lions Birds) use a far better form of training and the animals will often do the behaviours they've been taught outside of shows. Circus animals are tortured until they die. It needs to end.

I was talk to I seaworld trainer he's said they do not make the animal preform unless it want to I was a show where the orca splashed and jumped around for the trainer but then didnt the second half the show This the same for circus as I went one a couple of days and the horses didn't want Preform the part show so didn't same as the elephant if it doesn't want to preform it does and PETA kills more than half of the animals It "saves" I want live on this planet the way we evolved to do so if the

@wolfy2199 - I also detest Palin's stand on wolves. Unfortunately, there are many people who agree with her, and it's an uphill battle fighting for the right for wolves to even exist in this world. Sadly, there many animals that are on the brink of extinction due to human ignorance and outright stupidity. However, I will also continue to hold my stand against animal exploitation by circuses and would never attend a circus that features animal acts.
