I guess any proud parent would take lots of photos of their children... Little Shawawanika is warming up to me more and more as time progresses, and here you'll see just how comfortable she's become.
If you still have this aquarium I would recommend draining it and cleanign all the rocks and gravel. It looks like you have a very bad Cyano outbreak (The long stringy red velvet algae) That stuff is caused by overfeeding, not enough water changes, and not enough water movement. If I were you, I would add powerheads and reduce feeding. Just my 0.02 though.
Odontodactylus Havanensis ..They are small and generally only get to be 2.5-3 inches long. They are very peaceful and are related to the biggest of the smashers, the Peacock Mantis..Which is oddly enough the most aggressive of the smashers.
Hehe.... I love it at 0:22 when she's clamped onto the feeding stick and flies away with it.. SO cute! I've seen her species at my aquatics store, and they fetch a good price-- $21.99!! They only get about 3-4 inches long, and are smashers. But damn it-- I forgot the species name! Anyway, thanks for showing!
