Long time, no see. December 27 is a good day since it is my birthday, and happy birthday to you St. Stephen. I can't help but comment on the back to work thing, though. Will you be going back to work if the Britdocs make good the threat of an industrial action over cuts to their pension pots? I think we should remember Ebenezer Scrooge's words, "Let me hear one word out of you, Cratchit, and you can keep Christmas by losing your position!"

Happy belated Birthday Steven!! Much joy and good health to you.

Great looking fence! Bird song in the background is very nice.

I had to go to work. Great time though =)

I briefly went to the shops this morning with my family - but balanced that by a nice 10 mile walk and watching the Buzzards wheeling to and fro - i'll be back on my allotment at weekend
all the best for the New Year

I hit the shops, made some candles, assembled my new beer brewing equipment, fed the chickens some treats, started some Strawberry Wine, and generally got some things done before the week started all over again!
Very interesting !!! In Italy this day is called "Saint Stephen celebration".It's a day-off where In the morning you usually go to church. In the afternoon, you generally stay at home, or just going around(to the cinema, for example). It's a quiet and relaxing day.
All my Best to you and Julia.

@Chisola69 I was named after St Stephen as I was born near to his memorial day. In fact if I make it though the next 6 hours I'll be 56.
Stephen was the first Christisn martyr, stoned to death for telling some proud and powerful dudes a bunch of stuf they didn't want to hear. I'm honoured to bear that name.
