Seriously unprofessional of that ref. He can have rabbit ears and/or not like the commentary he overheard. But if he has a beef with it, he should have waited until after the game.

Ramsey and his partner handled it superbly, shutting that ref down without a confrontation... and not allowing the ref to make himself out to be more of a buffoon than he already had.

I've heard announcers everywhere criticize refs lol. If its a shitty call its a shitty call. Call it the way you see it thats what announcers are there for and in college and pros there are announcers who are pro home team. So why not get fired up its THEIR team? The ref is supposed to be professional about it. you dont see him going into the crowd when he gets booed so why is it ok to go on the radio?

I probably have the most unique perspective that can be given to this... I have been a sports broadcaster for 16 years, and a sports official for 20 years. BOTH people interacting in this clip (Ramsey and the Ref) were so far out of line that BOTH shouldn't have their respective positions after this fiasco. I've been taught that broadcasters shouldn't be officials when working; neither should officials be so sensitive that they openly confront those who are critical of calls. Kick 'em both out!

If the players are gonna be held to a certain standard as far as conduct and interacting with fans/broadcasters, then so are the refs.
