An amazing banjo with a wooden tone rim. Under 8 pounds, but what a sound. See more of it at zeppmusic dot com/ubanjos.htm#hopkins

  • What kind of banjo are you playing? it sounds really good!

  • That was a Hopkins "Woodie" model. It has no metal tone ring, only its wooden rim. This one is long sold, but you can see them at the dphopkins website.

  • I have the DP Hopkins Renaissance,,,I absolutely LOVE it! This one sounds nice too....

  • That banjo does sound good. I agree with Carter about the tone ring.

  • Wow Zepp that sounds just amazing for a banjo without a tone ring! I mean really good!!! I think most people overestimate the importance of a tine ring.
