Trailer for this 1966 Man from U.N.C.L.E. film. An enemy agent appeals to an aging British statesman with promises of a youth potion. Napoleon and Illya attempt to stop them using it.
The actor who played the villan in this was Bernard Fox who is now in his eighties and was born in Port Talbot, South Wales. He always plays English men in american series ( Columbo, Hart to hart for example).
That's veteran announcer Art Gilmore, 'abby'; he narrated many MANY theatrical trailers. "New theatrical feature"; that's a good one! This was originally a two-part episode, "The Bridge Of Lions Affair" [February 1966], with additional footage. MGM had a profitable habit of releasing at least two "MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E." 'theatrical movies' a year in the U.S. and overseas, between 1966 and '68- all of them were multi-part episodes from the TV series, with extra footage added. Very good, though...
lol I love the fighting that goes on between the opposite sexes. It is great she pulls a knife on him and tries to poison him and he's trying not to be rude but also fighting for his life. And the banter they had excellent dialogue and good acting. Those characters were vivid I still remember them 20 years later.

OMG thank you. This was one of my favorites. I had this film memorized from start to finish. How come they don't make films like this anymore. xox
