Yair Dalal is an Israeli musician of Iraqi-Jewish descent. His main instruments are the oud and the violin. Together with David Broza, they perfomed the song Yihiye tov at the annual Sulha peace gathering.

  • I met David in the Sinai back in the Seventies when he played a concert for 80 people at the moshav in Neviot. A lot more innocent then, and a lot less sophisticated, he had just returned from studying guitar in Spain. He was magnificently talented and already had produced some of his best songs. It was a pleasure to listen to him then and now. After the concert he came to a bedouin tent on the beach and along with maybe 20 moshav volunteers sang the night away. Such wonderful memories.
