they were :) he came to Oberlin College in the early 1990's and did half a show of his electronic music, no guitar, weird abstract things testing patience of many of the guitar freaks that came to hear him; for the second half he came out wearing a devil's mask (perhaps referring to some of to boos he got in the first half) opening the guitar part with this ferocious cover of the Who's Pinball Wizard. Funny, during the electronic music he did this long head stand that gave ME a headache
