This really changed my prospective of this case. I like to take out my ipod everyday and give it a nice cleanup, with this case its just too much trouble.

They must have been using the same silicone from the itouch 2gen to be carried over for the iphone 3g/3gs. When you use the silicone for the itouch, its just awesome where it covers entirely well over the bezels. So when you place the top piece over the itouch it wont scratch the bezels and its sides. However, since they are using the same silicone for the iphone 3gs, the silicone turns out to be pretty small in size and only manages to cover half of the iphone 3gs bezels

this looks a lot like my switcheasy neo.

Wow! Thanx for being so persistent, looking forward to the full review.
Man that is alot of work for a case. Why do case companies insist on making those flimsy silicone sleeves? Any ways I am still looking for another case to compare to the Defender, still have not seen anything close. Nice videos don't worry about the 3 part splits, if Youtube ever gets smart they will allow people more time without the need to be partner!

i'm with you on the protection based cases. the otterbox defender is so far the best i've seen, especially with the new removal tip ;) i'm probably gonna get a Switcheasy Capsule Neo and do a comparison as to it is like the duroSHOT, but yeah beef up the flimsy silicone!! thanks for comment
