Is that stock gearing? the first gear on my XS650 seems pretty wide like yours....I didnt know if That was just a common thing with them.

Sounds good. Looks terrible.

@WarFighterPS3 Its going to feel smaller then a harley. But the bike has plenty of power and you would not be cramping up. So go for it.

Im also about 6 foot and looking to build a bike like that. Hows the bike feel ergonomically? What are the frame dimensions? I was going to buy a 70's xs650 and a TC hardtail for my bike build. What do you think? I'm looking for a shorter look like yours but I also want it to be low to the ground and comfortable.

I am 6' tall, and this bike is about 3" shorter wheelbase than stock... Its all in the handlebar positioning, and the controls... I never feel to large for this bike...

So rephasing would help eliminate some of the vibration? My xs shakes pretty bad. Makes everything blurry. Still not used to it...

Yep, vibrations are minimal once you have rephased the engine... Its sweet!

Awesome video. Good sound. Thanks for sharing
Its been good to have another XS650 rephased video to watch. It really does sound like a V twin, and so it should. The fireing interval is exactly the same as an 83 degree Vtwin.
It must be a good feeling to modify an engine and have it sound different and run smoother.
