Easy, lightweight blanket tutorial

This tutorial is for a "summer blanket". It's a lightweight blanket that is very easy to sew. It takes maybe 30min tops to make. I thought that this would be a perfect blanket to make for the children that are victims in the Haiti disaster. Or if you know of someone in your personal life that may need one, for them too.

I have made a similar blanket for new babies in my life by buying 2 the same length as it is wide pieces of flannel and sewing them together as you directed. Nice, easy and made by hand.

thank you for the tutorial. Im 12 yrs old and wanted to make a blanket for my lil 1 yr old cousin and i didnt want to make a quilt but they take alot of fabric and money that i dont have but this is very easy thank you!

if you wanted something warmer. should i do the same thing with like a flannel or something and stuff it after turning it right side out?
