I wonder if this is where "The Music Of The Night" came from ,I wonder if this is where the insparation was for the title ,I know Crawford was inspired to do his phantom from Lugosi ,His cape and costume where based on Lugosi with Maria Bjornsons twists ,IS THIS WHERE IT CAME FROM???????

The actor who impersonates count Dracula, in order to be convincing and leave an impact on the spectaror, has to be three things: scary, timeless, aristocratic. Bela Lugosi managed to be all three, in a masterful balance. Jack Palance was more scary but lacked the gentleman's touch or the aristocratic features, he was too rugged. A certain timelessness has to be conveyed by the actor, so that he looks and sounds and behaves as a man from a vague past time, but without being corny or laughable.
