Glassman said in an interview that he used women's names for the original Crossfit WODs because anything that leaves you on your back breathing hard wondering what the hell just happened deserves a woman's name.

There's no way J.North isn't mocking CF when he falls to the ground. LOL.

Very good clip. Youtube is made for this sort of info.My best friend used to be bullied. He explained he was going to get bigger muscle and strength. I laughed... Then he gained 40 pounds of pure muscle mass. He tried the Muscle Building Bible (look in Google). No one dares to bully him nowadays. :)

I subscribed a few days ago. Not to mention this guys emails are fascinating!

Pleased I stumbled upon this vid. Appreciate Youtube due to this sort of info!!!My mate had been bullied. He stated he was about to get bigger. I did not believe him. Right up until out of nowhere he added 40 pounds of full-strength muscle. He made use of the Muscle Building Bible - Google it. Nobody dares to bully him these days. I subscribed a few days ago. Not to mention this mans emails are cool!

Front Squats=my favorite lift. I would suggest immediately stopping the power snatch if you ever plan on full snatches. It will ingrain a really bad motor pattern of receiving the bar high and make it very difficult to learn the 3rd pull under the bar when it comes time to up the weights in the Snatch. I'm sure you can learn the OHS, develop the mobility to do it, and when you can do a solid set of 5 OHS, you can go right into High Hang Snatches. Start with the bar. All about getting UNDER,FAST.

I fall into a similar area. Although I prefer the C&J (don't quite have the shoulder flexibility for a full snatch) although I've finally got the power snatch down. I usually work them twice a week on top of either deadlift or squat day. Btw . . . I absolutely love front squats. I think they might be the single greatest exercise ever

You could say broader program, but all I care about is Snatch. I don't compete, I just have taught myself the classic lifts, so I have a lot of flexibility. I Snatch, C+J, Back/Front Squat, Press, Chin, and throw in various other simple barbell and dumbbell lifts as needed. I focus on Snatch because it's the most interesting and challenging. I rarely focus on the Clean but I use heavy Cleans for all of my Front Squat sets, and Power Clean all my Press sets, so it gets a lot of practice.

that would make sense. Curiously, do you train the oly lifts only, or are they incorporated into a broader program?
