Chicago Tea Party - Rick Santelli's Revolution on CNBC

A new Boston Tea Party is going to be held in Chicago in July. Rick Santelli appeared on CNBC and voiced the frustration of many people over the bailouts, stimulus packages and mortgage plans.

Santelli said, "The government is promoting bad behavior. I have an idea. The new administration is big on computers and technology, how about this President and new administration: Why dont you put up a website to have people vote on the Internet as a referendum to see if we really want to subsidize the losers mortgages or would we like to at least buy cars, buy houses in foreclosure, and give them to people that might have a chance to actually prosper down the road and reward people that could carry the water instead of drink the water.

"This is America. How many of you people want to pay for your neighbors mortgage that has an extra bathroom and cant pay their bills?", Santelli asked the crowd at the Chicago Board of Trade.

"President Obama, are you listening?"

"Were thinking of having a Chicago Tea Party in July. All you capitalists that want to show up to Lake Michigan, Im going to start organizing it."

I will be there. Let me know if you're going - I'll buy the beer.

The government promoting bad behavior? How is this possible? It's not like Obama is having sex with interns (yet) and educating our children about oral sex! In less than a month he's appointed Tax Cheat Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary, a guy who freed FALN terrorists as Attorney General, a woman whose husband received millions of dollars from unfriendly countries as Secretary of State and told us we don't have to be responsible for our mistakes. Obama is setting a great example for us!

I am a US citizen but used to be a Venezuelan citizen. Obama is starting the same persecution and abuses against freedom of the press that the communist Hugo Chavez started 10 years ago when his government was very popular. Venezuelans let him do whatever he wanted and now a prosperous and free country is a dictatorship with a bunch of poor beggars, so used to welfare that is no way out, while the corrupt power elite consume 90% of the oil revenues.
