This simulation shows an example of 3D radio tomographic imaging (RTI) along a road, using a rectangularly-spaced array of received signal strength (RSS) based nodes on each side of the road. The obstruction is a 3 meter sphere moving at 11 MPH, and the node spacing is roughly 10 meters.
With a rectangular grid, coverage is somewhat spotty.
