I've caught various evps having been experiencing strange paranormal things since childhood. I've caught evps on basic equipment as well e.g. digital recorder, tape recorder, mp3 player-recorder etc and with most of the evps is that energy surge as you put it the 'shhhht' as if it's a cosmic radio tuning in an out or a rise in energy etc

The White Noise is an Open Frequency for the Spirits to use to form their Voices since they are Energy themselves, and the Frequency Range they speak in cannot be heard by the Human Ear.

Mine is an Olympus VN 4100PC would that do ? And what is the difference between mine and the one you use in your video ?

this is such a great evp, cos I used to get evps but it took me so long to sift through hours of recording just to get one decent evp so I havnt done it in a while - but when i did get an evp they'd answer just as clear as the voice on this evp plus with the energy charge after, and sometimes before the evp voice - I used to describe the energy charge as the spirit voice 'tuning in' to our earth plain frequency.

What model of Olympus recorder is that? I started doing evp back in September of 2004. I to was unsure about the whole thing but after listening to my first evps I was interested in this phenomena. I started out with a cheap GE desktop recorder and an american idol mic, thought any mic for the time being would do. The radio shack boundary mic works really nice and is very sensitive but it won't clip or over saturate the a recording from being up close.
