sure it's a lower key, but no one could sing at Freddie's range. I cant stand EJ - I find the short fat bastard repulsive, but he did OK on this song.

Robert Plant was quoted as saying that "They had to change the keys on EVERY song because not a single artist at this tribute could come close to reaching Freddies vocal range." They did their best though.

if you really feel negatively about this consider Elton and Freddie were close friends so its not Elton trying to do it like Freddie, this is a tribute to Freddie, it would mean alot less if it came from someone who didnt know him well considering the song was written about Freddie's battle with HIV that ultimately killed him. there are certainly people who could do a better freddie cover but thats not the point of this performance
